Changes to our leadership.
In our continued efforts to ensure the strongest possible leadership of NIC, we are happy to announce the following changes to our Board of Directors.
Leif Jensen, former CEO of VKR Holding, has accepted our invitation to join NIC.
Experience from a number of Board of Director and CEO positions in companies with international reach. Leif Jensen is the former CEO of VKR Holding - a major family owned long-term industrial investment company. For more than a decade he was leading the activities and investments of VKR Holding.
Today Mr. Jensen is serving as a board member within the family owned SME segment. As such he is deputy chairman on the Board of Tajco, chairman at Strømberg Holding and subsidiaries, board member of WindowMaster International, and Advisory Board member of Venture Cup.
In addition Leif Jensen is deputy board chairman and chair of the Investment Committee of the Hempel Foundation and Hempel Holding as well as board member of Hempel A/S, and board member of The Velux Stiftung, where he is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Pär Östberg, Board member
Leif Jensen will replace Pär Östberg, who has accepted a new role as Chief Investment Officer in a global PE Fund based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Due to his new responsibilities Pär is not able to continue in the NIC board, but he transitions to a new role as part of our expanding Senior Executive Network.
We thank Pär for his important contribution to NIC and wish him all the best.
Robbert Stecher, EVP NIC
Robbert Stecher has been offered and accepted our invitation to join the NIC Board of Directors. Robbert has been and will continue to be an active member of the NIC leadership as well as pursuing an executive position with more operational and direct leadership.
